This picturesque medieval village is situated on a hill dominating the
Valdichiana and the Trasimeno lake. It's worth visiting the Cathedral,
with its collection of art, the Church and the S. Maria dei Banchi Oratory
with the works of Perugino and Pomarancio, the Priori Palace, the Corgna
Palace with its frescoes by Pomarancio, the house of the Perugino, the
Church of S. Agostino, the Church of S. Francesco, the Rocca and the smallest
alley of Italy, the “Baciadonne Alley”.

This ancient Etruscan city, was one of the most powerful cities of the
Etruscan Dodecapoli. It's worth visiting the National Archaeological Museum,
the Etruscan Necropoli and the underground route from the maze of Porsenna
to S. Secondiano Tower.
Cetona

It has the characteristic medieval concentric system around to the top
of a hill situated on the slopes of the Monte Cetona. It's worth visiting
the preistoric civic museum of Monte Cetona and its archaeological-naturalistic
park.
San Casciano dei Bagni

It is situated at the border between Umbria and Lazio, a lunar land rich
of calanchi and big clay and sand erosions. In 1600 the Granduca of Tuscany,
Ferdinand I, built thearcade of the thermal spa with its 43 sources at
42°C.
Castiglione del Lago

This splendid medieval city on the Trasimeno lake has a wonderfule Lion
Rocca, a pentagonal building with four angle towers and a triangular mastio.
This building is one of the best examples of the military architecture
of the Middle Age in Umbria, and it is situated on a limestone rock dominating
the Trasimeno lake.
It's worth visiting also the Corgna Palace, a building created by Vignola.
The ancient houses of the Baglioni, feudal lords during medieval period,and
the old town-walls, the Palace and the Rocca, connected from an evocative
communication trench, that contributes to create a typically feudal atmosphere.
Cortona

Cortona is situated on the hill that dominates the Chiana valley, sourronded
by a circle of walls of rare archaeological importance thanks to its steep
roads, churches, convents and the ancient works of art conserved in the
Museum of the Etruscan Academy, Cortona is the symbol of a great ancient
period of glory.
The church of S. Maria al Calcinaio is half road between Cortona and Camucia
and it is the masterpiece of the senese artist Francesco di Giorgio Martini,
and it is considered one of the most perfect architectonic works of the
rinascimental age.
