The horse center
The country riding school was born from the love that the owners of La
Casella have always had for the horses. Furthermore it is an affiliated
center FISE and thanks to the presence of its federal instructors, you
will learn how to horse back-ride with single or collective lessons.
For the most skilled riders we organize also one hour (or more) walks
along the paths of the river. During springtime and in autumn we organize
trekkings
of more days in order to visit our nearest castles, wine cellars and small
medieval villages.
During the warmer season, starting at the end of May, we organize our
famous nocturnal horse ridings, ending with delicious dinners by candlelight
in the woods ; then you will come back riding under a sky full of stars.
Every real knight must live such an unforgettable experience.
The Riding School of La Casella organizes many activities also for children.
Our Pony
Club, with the most modern teaching techniques and Federal FISE ininstructors,
will turn them into little country knights.
The Riding School of La Casella has a 80x40 mt hurdle field, a 80x40 mt
trial field 80x40 mt, 28 stalls and outer puddoks. It is the ideal place
for all horses!
The stable of La Casella has 36 stalls and many outer puddoks to board
horses at rest or in agonistic stop.

Lessons and courses
Lessons and basic courses for beginners; advanced lessons and jumping
lessons with FISE federal instructors; one hour or more walks for everybody;
sunset walks with dinner in the wood by candlelight (from june and all
the summertime).
A magic and unforgettable experience fot those who have never ride by

Tours
All day tours ( departure early in the morning and come back at the sunset)
with outdoor lunch. It will be possible to visit medieval castles, old
convents, artisan workshops, oil mills and famous wine cellars, in the
typical landscape of Umbria.
Simulated fox hunting
The dress code and rules are the same of the real fox hunting. A master
conducts the hunt but there are no dogs and every rider has to catch a
tail strategically fixed on the jacket of a rider ...
Three days Trekking
A short journey to discover ancient and little villages, secular castles
and convents, crossing endless vineyards. We are in the land of the Orvieto
Classico, near the Elmo wood: a huge outdoor colection of natural beauties.
Three days dedicated to nature, history and horse riding, but also to
comfort. Typical La Casella lunches (from starters to fruit). Dinner and
overnight stay in typical old farmhouses recently restorated, eating the
local products of our traditional cuisine. The luggage will be carried
by car...
