GETTING MARRIED IN THE ITALIAN COUNTRYSIDE
A wedding made to measure
The wedding: a personalized project. La Casella "transforms" itself, for
the occasion, into the country estate of the newly married couple. The
possibility to give hospitality to relatives and friends in four small country
hotels.
The two restaurants, La Quercia and Le Noci, "transform" themselves, for
the event, also in the venues to receive the guests and to give a different
character to the wedding feast. The Club House of La Casella becomes a
living-room, where all the guests will feel like at home, served and cuddled
of our staff. During the stay all the services at La Casella like tennis,
billiard, the two swimming pools will be free for all the guests while
they can make agreements for the horse-back riding center and the spa
directly with the staff, all to make the stay more pleasant and relaxing.
A feast just not for one day but an entire unforgettable "wedding-weekend".
- Gathering and meeting party Friday night
- Marriage Ceremony and dinner Saturday
- Brunch and farewell Sunday.
The ritual
In the surroundings, in the medieval towns of Ficulle e Parrano, there
are small romantic Churches for the religious ceremonies while a civil
rite can be held in a historic theater from the 1800's in Monteleone.

In Fabro and Orvieto there are good florists that know how to realize
floral arrangements made to measure.
The food
After the ceremony all the guests get together at La Casella. A "countryside"
buffet, served outside if the weather is good or inside, starts the feast.
This is the moment when everybody is waiting to greet the bride and the
groom that perhaps will come a little bit later due to the photos. " The
waiting staff are here serving the "aperitivo"and on the buffet:
- Cured Italian ham (prosciutto) cut by hand.
- Different types of local dry-aged cheeses.
- Crostini (toasted bread points with served with different types of gourmet sauces).
- Spelt Croquets.
- "Little balls" of tuna fish and eggplant .
- A special home-made bread filled with assorted fresh organic vegetables .
- Miniature home-made pizza .
- Prosecco, white wine (Orvieto Classico), orange juice and mineral water.
The Wedding Lunch or Dinner (according to your preference)
The Lunch or Dinner will be served in the restaurant La Quercia overlooking the swimming pool or in the Salone
Le Noci. The restaurant will be set using round tables or long rectangular tables (according to your preference).
The menu will consist of 5 different courses:
- 2 types of home-made pasta with organic vegetable sauces or sauces made of pork, veal, duck, rabbit or wild boar.
- Main course of locally selected meats (pork, rabbit, free-range chicken, wild boar
) served with organic roasted potatoes and vegetables.
- Vegetable home-made quiche.
- The Wedding Cake prepared by our Chef.
- Red and white wine will be unlimitedly served (Orvieto Classico).
- Mineral water.
- Coffee will be served at the bar.
To be quoted separately:
- Champagne (usually we like offer Ferrari or Berlucchi - these have a cost of 16,00 per bottle).
- Different wine selection (up to you)
The party will continue all day/night long
On the buffet: small home-made
pastries, fruit and mineral water.
The Costs:
Gourmet Buffet Appetizers: starting at 20,00 per person.
Wedding Lunch or Dinner: starting at 70,00 per person (including house
wines, bottled mineral water, Italian spumante and wedding cake made by our cake designer*).
Open Bar and home-made miniature pastries served at midnight: starting at
15,00 per person.
Bed & Breakfast : 65,00 (based on double room occupancy per person per night).
4-5 course meals (lunch or dinner served before and after the wedding): from
25,00/lunch to 30,00/dinner per person (including house wines and bottled mineral
water).
Children 2-12 years will receive a 40% discount on the above quoted
prices ( 39,00 per child per night).
